Hi, my name is Verla. Nancy and I have been friends now for over twenty years. I must say I could never find a better friend. I have been married for almost twelve years now to a great guy who is also my best friend. Between the two of us we have three girls and one son in law. They are the light of my life and inspire me greatly. I thank God everyday for my family and friends and what He enables me to do. I have always loved doing crafts and learned how to do embroidery, sewing, cross stitch, painting, weaving, stenciling, my Mom is the best. I have to say if she were still here with us she would love what we are doing. My Grandma or Nana as we call her, still loves to do embroidery, cross stitch, crocheting, knitting, needlecraft, painting and all at the young age of 95!!

I have always loved to make things for people and use my creative side. I learned so much from my Mom and Nana. Mom loved quilling, something I have not yet tried, and she made some beautiful projects, curling all those pieces of paper into shapes, such patience. Mom also made all of our dresses and Barbie cloths. She loved to cook and help others out and make special things for us. Cross stitching, needlework, embroidery. Nana knitted Barbie clothes, made afghans and made us many sweaters!

I loved making simple things when my girls were little, like bibs, costumes, cloth books or blankets. I remember one year making my own pattern from a bunny costume from a pair of foot pajamas, I was so proud of it, a hood with ears, a fluffy tail, went to put my daughter in it and I had forgotten to put the zipper in! Oops, I was just excited at having done that, as at the time making clothes I really never had gotten into! So, I learned to be creative, I loved to draw, which my girls are very good at now. Scrap booking, painting, drawing, needlework, decoupage, glass etching, pottery just anything to keep busy. I have one brother and one sister. My dad and brother are amazed at the work Nancy and I do.

We both take great pride in our work, something definitely instilled in us from our great parents. I love to take a picture, learn to digitize it, to create something unique for someone and put it on cloth, it's a lot like drawing, being an artist, so many colors and possibilities! I love what I am doing and love being able to do this with Nancy. I knew if I just kept at her she would fall in love with this! So please look around, if there is something you have in mind, ask us, we will be honest with you and helpful and we strive for quality. Please come back often, and have a great day ;)

My name is Nancy.

I have been married for 28 years to a wonderful man, he is the love of my life and my best friend. We have two beautiful girls who we adore. Oh, I better not forget we have a son-in-law now. He too, is adored.

My parents are the best in the whole world. I have two older sisters. Okay not old but older than I am. (had to say that as not to get into trouble with them, ha)

When I was young my Mom always made clothing for us with our dolls to match. I know she worked very hard and late at night so we would not see our special things she had sewn for us. So as the years went on I learned to sew many things.

My mom is so talented when it comes to sewing, knitting, crochet, crafts, embroidery and cooking. I will never forget the year I was in 7 th grade my parents bought all three of us girls our very own sewing machines with cabinets and a ton of supplies. Imagine the screams of three girls Christmas morning at our house! Now we could really learn to sew. We all loved crafts, sewing and just making things from our hearts. I know I loved getting homemade gifts so I thought everyone did. Not all were good but we did our best.

As the years went on we all used our machines tons. I still have mine to this day! I followed in my Mom's foot steps and made my girls clothing and yes doll clothes also. I even tackled Barbie doll clothing. I really can say I did not enjoy those. As I did shred a few of them up when things did not work. The tiny details on the clothing was not for me. Oh, I still did them for my girls and was glad when they out grew Barbie. Ha

How did I get into my new business? My friend, Verla had been asking me for some time about doing embroidery with her. I kept telling her I did not really know to much about it that I was just really a sewing and crafts person. I had not done that for some time as the girls just kept me to busy with sports and cheerleading. One day she came over and said that she had a client, did I want to help her? Verla reminded me that I didn't have any excuses any longer, we are both empty nesters. I said okay. I would never in a million years guessed I would love it so passionately.

I have enjoy making homemade gifts, unique items, crafts, sewing, needlework, embroidering, looking for designs, digitizing, and most of all the friend ship I have with Verla.

I look at all things in such a different way now. I can see something now and visualize what I could Embroider on that. Wow wouldn't that change the look of that. So now you know about me. If you chose to order with us, please enjoy. I take pride in what I do.
